GOH is comprised of a number of artistic projects and organizations.

Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre (CAMT) | Artistic Director Vit Horejs and his company bring century-old marionettes to life with classical artistry, contemporary humor, and intelligence. more info

Sherry Erskine, Bonnie Sue Stein, Iguana  | create video installations and performative video work based on their 1970s archive digitized and re-imagined. They work with John Erskine on various sound elements and have had their archive digitized as part of a preservation grant program at BAVC.

Adrienne Cooper portraitDreaming in Yiddish Fund & Award, in memory of the extraordinary Adrienne Cooper (1946-2011), a major catalyst in the 1980s revival of Yiddish culture that flourishes to this day. 

 

MOV!NG CULTURE PROJECTS, partners with artists, arts groups, cultural, educational, civic, and community based organizations who want to activate and bring live performing arts programs and events to their public spaces: streets, parks, plazas, and other public spaces.

EVdp_iconEast Village Dance Project (EVDP) | A pre-professional acclaimed dance program for children ages 4 to 15, founded by choreographer and teacher Martha Tornay, ran in NYC from 1995 to 2021. Martha currently teaches and choreographs at Connecticut College and Bates Dance Festival, among others.

Polli Talu Arts Residency Center | Marika Blossfeldt directs this center in rural Estonia which hosts residencies and retreats for professionals and practitioners of dance, music, the visual arts, and yoga.  more info

Absolute Ensemble | Conductor Kristjan Jarvi and the group fuse classical roots with musics of all genres, from jazz and rock to world music and hip-hop.  more info

Art in Odd Places | An annual visual and performance event in unexpected public spaces under the direction of Ed Woodham. It reminds us that public spaces function as the epicenter for diverse social interactions and the unfettered exchange of ideas.  more info

Carrie Beehan | is a singer-songwriter/sound designer and paint/video performance artist aka Trystette Music.  more info
